traveling to Thailand in 10days will it be safe for my family in phuket?

on the 12th of September my family and i are looking forward to our family holiday in phuket but we are unsure of the coup going on there any advice on weather it will be ok it doesn’t look to good were so disappointed if we cant go

Many Japanese tourists are cancelling their trips to Phuket. Perhaps you should too.

The thais will not harm the tourist, but it will road block,airport block, rail block.etc.. you would get to enjoy the holidays

but phuket airport is currently been closed due to protestors

I have been in Thailand for the past week. Unless you are looking for trouble, you won’t find it. Just use common sense. Speak to the tour desk at your hotel to find out which areas to avoid. Just be prepared to be stuck there if the airport is closed again.
