Me & my family are planning to go for a holiday in Bangkok this Nov 29, hearing about their politics chaos, we’re worried is Bangkok will be a safe place to visit. Thanks for all of your feedback…

I was in Bangkok with my friends during the night the political rioting happened. it was only when we checked the internet the next day that we found out about it. we had no problems getting to the airport or when we were walking in the streets. Although the news coverage presented the situation as “Bangkok in a state of emergency!”, i believe the trouble was concentrated to to a small area of the city - such as some government buildings. If your worried, avoid the government buildings and ask someone working in your hotel for advice - thai people are very helpful in general.
